What is Interpersonal intelligence ?
The “people smart” students learning is a social experience; capacity to detect and respond appropriately to the moods, motivations and desires of others. The "social smart" students learn best through interaction with other people through discussions, cooperative work, or social activities. They are able to create synergy in a room by being aware of the feelings and motives of others. They can be excellent leaders because they enjoy being part of a group.
Students with strong interpersonal intelligence enjoy, and have
success, working with email/chat projects, word processing - chain
writing, group editing, peer writing, brainstorming, listservs, forums,
and discussions, video and teleconferencing, group decisions software,
WebQuests with collaborative elements, video recording - sharing with
others through skits, debates, role plays, collaborative computer
software or games, group presentations (Impress-slide shows),
telecommunications projects - Flat Stanley,
Peer
tutoring.

Tips for picking software
There is no one best way to find FOSS projects that will best serve your needs. There are several rules of thumb you can use to help you make informed decisions.
* Do you already have something that will do the job well?
* Does the program do what you want?
* Do you care about the ideologies behind free software and open source software?
* Do you know other people that already use it?
* Is the current version over a year old?
* Are there user support mailing lists you can join?
